Now is the time to wrap up the year since Ella was 14 and reflect on the changes. She's still a child, though she'd like to be treated as an adult. She practices in first aid treatment, sails, tennis, and kicking Shavit not necessarily at that order. She's also training our dogs to do everything they shouldn't. Oh, and she's a teenager. It appears that she needs only the AEIOU letters, though she makes us feel the first 2 letters are silent.
A kid lives in a home which resides in a settlement and at the end of the chain there's a country. For Ella the country means nothing, she can hardly care about the ministry of education. In Israel there's an old joke stating that the minister of education should be assigned to be minister of war because when he's the minister of education there's no education.
Jokes aside, the country affects a kid more than a kid can understand. We got a demo of it live, or more likely dying in front of our eyes.
The last year was a complete fall a minor rise and fall again. We're still waiting for 50 hostages to return home. We still have a non-working government, and Bibi has not yet been convicted mainly because he uses every excuse shamelessly. The cost of living in Israel skyrockets with only a simple explanation - a criminal who doesn't want to leave.
We're at war! But not against the Gaza strip, we're at war with Bibi. The unholy messiah who doesn't let us heal. We need to end the useless battle in Gaza, and return the hostages to their homes. The last relevant argument for keeping the head of 7/10 failure is "there's no one better around". Well, Isaac wasn't better than Abraham. He managed, but that's the most we can say about him. Jacob was born out of the "managed" Isaac did. Jacob was a better version of Abraham, he wasn't Abraham yet he learned from him.
I hope to see a day when someone starts repairing the damage Bibi did, hopefully soon.
All I can do is wish that by the time Ella will be 16 we'll be with a real government instead of the usurper we now have.
