Ella is 7 years old

It's hard to believe, but fact is Ella finished the 1st grade, and is 7 years old. A year ago she couldn't read a single word, and now she reads mini books to Shavit.
Ella's school began with our fears regarding the new treatment she received, the Ritalin. It turned out to be a savior. This year she could make more friends, she enjoyed her classmates, and she finally did manage to sit on a chair.
The "examination" of ADHD took less than 10 minutes, the doc just filled in all the details while she tore down his "test lab".
Her teacher told us a few months after school has began, "I thought she didn't need Ritalin, but the one time she forgot to take it did prove me wrong." Ella had jumped on the tables, not metaphorically, feet on tables and who knows which kid on her tail.
One last detail to add to the collage. On the day after her birthday date I took her with me to a "learning sailing", part of my skipper course. She enjoyed it a lot, even though the fish decided to hide. She walked on the ship like it was land, and sought the hiding fish. Fish we didn't find, only pieces of garbage floating around.
That's all for now. I hope that by Shavit's birthday I'll have my skipper's license.
